Chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) is a process of inflammation characterized by injured gastric mucosal epithelium leading to reduction glands, often accompanied intestinal or pseudopyloric metaplasia. Astragalus polysaccharide (APS) reported improve damage and inflammation, but its role in CAG remains elusive. Therefore, we intended analyze the impact APS on potential mechanism provide novel insight into treatment for disorder. After establishment model using MNNG method, rats were administered Vitazyme (200 mg/kg), low, moderate high concentration (20, 40, 60 respectively, with healthy as controls some untreated. that, rat tissues pathologically examined ELISA, Western blot analysis staining carried out assess apoptosis Pathologically, alleviated pathological changes rats, reducing inflammatory cell infiltration inflammation. Besides, significantly diminished content pro-inflammatory factors decreased level gastrointestinal hormones. In presence APS, cells was inhibited p-NF-κB p65 p-IKKα/β expression decreased.
